Early Work

Some of my first projects at Syracuse University School of Architecture are shown in the images to the right. I specifically remember these early works in that they were about exploring 2D space through three dimensional construction and vice versa, extrapolating and idea or theme from something that was previously overlooked.

These early lessons in form, scale, layering, material manipulation and transparency formed part of the foundation for the rest of my academic career. For me, the exciting part about architecture is that we are always learning and adding tools to our repertoire, even the most elementary lessons find their place in the pursuit of successful architecture, art and design.
